Residential Life

BYU–Hawaii Residential Life is a disciple training center following the vision of President Tanner and David O. Mckay, where students fulfill the mission of the University, to become learners, leaders and builders and establish peace internationally.

This University provides a unique opportunity to learn both in and outside of the classroom setting by living and interacting with people who gather from all over the world. We speak different languages, eat different food and enrich our experience by sharing cultural customs.

We show honor and respect to ourselves and others by upholding the standards of the honor code and encouraging others to live Christ-centered lives. Here at BYU-Hawaii we open our hearts to all which means you leave with a bigger, worldwide family than when you came.

Residential Life Moto:

“Stand close together and lift where you stand.”

President Dieter F. Uchtdorf
